Grounds Maintenance and Gardening Volunteer To help maintain the grounds of the Rare Breeds Centre. Responsibilities to include: Maintaining flower bed areas Maintaining bug hotel and wildlife areas Basic maintenance of hedges for wildlife and feeding to large livestock Building and creating wildlife homes Installing bird boxes and bug hotels Using sit-on ride mower and strimmer around site Provide good customer service to visitors as required This role can be tailored to your skills, so it can be Gardening or Maintenance based or a combination of both. Skills You have: Gardening &/or basic DIY skills Awareness of Health & Safety Ability to work in sympathy with the aims of The Salvation Army by showing respect, empathy, and treating people with dignity Suggested Session Times 8.30am – 12.30pm 10am – 2pm 11am – 3pm 1pm – 5pm All day 8.30am – 5pm Location Rare Breeds Centre, Hadleigh, Essex, SS7 2AP #J-18808-Ljbffr
