We are looking for a Night Vet to join our Team at Blacks Vets in Dudley, West Midlands. Are you looking to join a multi-award-winning practice and be part of an experienced and forward-thinking team of clinicians where you can pursue and be supported in your genuine clinical interests?
As a progressive, growing and highly successful practice, we are always on the lookout for outstanding team members to join our award-winning friendly team, at our accredited Veterinary Hospital in Dudley and our surrounding local branches (on the edge of the West Midlands, but all within 30 mins of Birmingham City Centre). We are on the lookout for a night vet to join us working 1 week on, 2 weeks off at our main hospital in Dudley.
Rota and Package:
- Salary of up to £70,000 D.O.E.
- 7 days on, 14 days off (7pm-8am)
- Opportunity to cover day shifts as desired
- Annualised holiday hours

About Us: We are a small animal, first opinion and referral practice with a strong vet team of 16 including 7 Certificate holders, plus a further 6 Vets currently studying. These include cardiology, dermatology, medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, and surgery - soft tissue and orthopaedic. We would also happily support you with any current or future certificate studies both financially and clinically. You will also work closely with our amazing team of experienced nurses, including our overnight nursing team! Plus we can give you access to referral centres for future development and caseload exposure.
Our practices have access to state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment - including CT, fully equipped dental suite (dental training available) and 12 operating theatres. Our size, insured base, and varied caseload means we can support a range of skill sets and continued professional development aspirations.
