We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Account Manager (AM) to join our team. As an AM at AXON, you will be the primary liaison for clients on a day-to-day basis, working closely with senior colleagues to manage healthcare communications programs that align with client objectives. You will oversee junior team members, demonstrate exceptional consultancy skills, and handle financial responsibilities while contributing to internal initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships as the key day-to-day client contact.
  • Listen actively, address needs proactively, resolve issues with senior counsel when needed.
  • Drive tactical proposals for Requests for Proposals (RfPs).
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing work; seek senior support for new business opportunities.
  • Lead projects while resolving issues; develop/refine project briefs with clients appropriately budgeting projects.
  • Adapt to each client’s working and communication style.
  • Provide clear communication within the team for efficient information sharing.
  • Guide junior team members for their professional growth; provide constructive feedback.

Candidate must have:

  • Proven experience in agency account management, with a record of keeping to or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize, appropriately.
  • Good writing and presentation skills, and ability to adapt style to different audiences.
  • Excellent collaborative and teamwork skills.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office as well as compliance with/understanding of industry codes and regulations.
