Salt is working with an organisation responsible for international educational opportunities, who run a global initiative for marginalised young people. They help to equip young people with green skills training, mentorship, and grants, with the aim of fostering a fair transition away from fossil fuels and equip the next generation with the tools to address climate change. As a part-time Marketing Communications Consultant , you will play a pivotal role in creating and delivering a comprehensive global and local marketing and communications strategy to raise awareness of the programme, engage stakeholders, and highlight the contributions of the organisation. 12-month contract (1 day each week) Circa £680 per day, outside IR35 Remote working (UK based) February 2025 start Key Deliverables: A comprehensive global and local marketing and communication strategy High quality content for social media, websites, and printed materials Effective promotion of events and activities Increased awareness and understanding of the programme among stakeholders As a Marketing Communications Consultant, you will be responsible for : Developing and implementing a Communications and Visibility plan at global and local levels to share programme outcomes with stakeholders, raise awareness of the organisation’s empowerment commitments, and support partners in effectively communicating the programme to their audiences Overseeing all content for social media, websites, and print, and ensuring alignment with the programme’s goals, and work closely with youth contributors (for example, journalists, influencers, photographers etc) Liaise with internal marketing and press teams, ensuring alignment and consistency in messaging, and collaborate with local agencies in Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, India, and Vietnam to ensure effective delivery Oversee an external design agency, responsible for creating programme assets, ensuring adherence to the brand guidelines Track the performance of marketing activities, and evaluate the impact of communications efforts on programme awareness and engagement You will need : Proven experience in strategic marketing and communications on a global level, with the ability to manage multiple projects and budgets simultaneously Excellent stakeholder management skills, with strong experience working across regions and cultures The ability to create and deliver multi-channel campaigns across social media, web, and print Experience working with youth-focused initiatives or climate-related projects Ideally knowledge of the target regions (Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, India, and Vietnam)
