Service Care Solutions are working alongside a growing and innovative accountancy practice who are looking to bring a motivated Tax Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of the role.

Role Overview:

  • Prepare and submit Self-Assessment tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Assist with Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Trust Tax matters.
  • Prepare P11Ds and advise on benefits in kind.
  • Support with succession planning and estate tax advice.
  • Carry out ad hoc tax assignments and projects.
  • Liaise directly with clients and HMRC as required.
  • Maintain accurate records using tax software (IRIS preferred).
  • Studying or qualified in ATT, ACCA, ACA, or CTA (QBE candidates also considered).
  • Experience in a professional accountancy practice setting.
  • Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
