Job Description for Account Manager at TotalEnergies Direct message the job poster from TotalEnergies. In line with company objectives to optimize sales performance by managing individual customers/groups according to the Aftermarket Sales Strategy & Plans. Responsibilities include prospecting and securing targeted new business, acting as a business consultant, executing local sales and marketing plans, and understanding the entire offer management, including customer creditworthiness, product supply, premiumization, range, and payment management. Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies to eliminate risks to staff and the environment. Negotiate contracts with new and existing customers, including product debt security. Collaborate with other functions: Work with Marketing to identify industry and channel best practices. Coordinate with Customer Service and Supply teams for back-office support. Identify sales opportunities through promotions and implement them. Collaborate with the pricing department for profitable proposals. Training and Support: Provide TotalEnergies information to stakeholders. Work with the technical team to ensure customer training and knowledge sharing. Support customers with product ranges, stocking, and new product introductions. Monitor and capture marketing pricing. Maximize brand exposure through all available channels. Qualifications and Skills: Graduate caliber. At least 5 years of experience as a Key Account Manager in the Auto aftermarket B2B/B2B2C, with exposure to Motor Factors and prospect-to-partnership development. Strong prospecting skills within the Auto industry, preferably lubricants. Excellent presentation, record-keeping, results-driven, enthusiastic. Ability to work cross-functionally and independently. Experience in creating commercial offers with basic financial costing. Understanding of channel processes and customer nuances. Proficiency in PPT, PowerBI, Word, Excel, and CRM systems (SALSA). Experience in matrix organizations and multicultural environments. Proactive, curious, influential, with strong fact-finding skills. Channel contacts are a plus.
