Responsibilities & Accountabilities: To be responsible for the day-to-day care of residents, delegating roles to nursing and care staff as appropriate. To provide clinical supervision to the Registered Nurses, ensuring they obtain and sustain the necessary clinical competencies. To act as a Shift Team Leader, providing supervision and development for care staff. To contribute to training care staff and act as a role model. To participate in personal and professional development, attending mandatory training. Ensure the Gold Care standards are effectively operated to achieve positive outcomes. Monitor, audit, and review the service, taking corrective actions when necessary. Demonstrate high professional standards and leadership, maintaining relevant memberships. Assist with supervision and appraisal of staff, ensuring high standards. Implement and adhere to policies, procedures, legal requirements, and codes of practice. Assist with recruitment, performance management, and staff deployment. Oversee maintenance contractors and property upkeep. Promote the service through effective communication with stakeholders. Maintain private bed occupancy and support marketing efforts. Ensure staff focus on excellent customer care to enhance residents\’ lives and uphold the company\’s reputation. Perform other duties as required by the business. Tasks may vary depending on business needs; flexibility and enthusiasm are appreciated.
