Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- To be responsible for the day-to-day care of residents, delegating roles to nursing and care staff as appropriate.
- To provide clinical supervision to the Registered Nurses, ensuring they obtain and sustain the necessary clinical competencies.
- To act as a Shift Team Leader, providing supervision and development for care staff.
- To contribute to training care staff and act as a role model.
- To participate in personal and professional development, attending mandatory training.
- Ensure the Gold Care standards are effectively operated to achieve positive outcomes.
- Monitor, audit, and review the service, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Demonstrate high professional standards and leadership, maintaining relevant memberships.
- Assist with supervision and appraisal of staff, ensuring high standards.
- Implement and adhere to policies, procedures, legal requirements, and codes of practice.
- Assist with recruitment, performance management, and staff deployment.
- Oversee maintenance contractors and property upkeep.
- Promote the service through effective communication with stakeholders.
- Maintain private bed occupancy and support marketing efforts.
- Ensure staff focus on excellent customer care to enhance residents' lives and uphold the company's reputation.
