Deliver sales objectives through regular customer engagement and disciplined use of Salesforce to track progress. Understand what the customer wants: Interact with customers to understand their requirements and develop bespoke, tailored solutions. Collaborate with colleagues across R&D, Project Management, and Pre-sales to develop competitive proposals for CMC services. Develop customer relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing customers to grow long-term business partnerships. Understand reporting relationships within customer organizations to identify key collaborators and decision-makers. Partner internally with colleagues across the business to facilitate the delivery of customer requirements (e.g., on-site visits, audits, legal documents, interactions at events). Understand how Sai can help the customer: Maintain an up-to-date awareness of company capabilities and proactively communicate this to customers to identify sales growth opportunities. Collaborate with Sai\’s business intelligence team to identify opportunities within customer portfolios for growth. Ensure customer delivery expectations are met and customers have a positive experience: Proactively work with R&D and Project Management to ensure OTIF targets are met. Engage key external stakeholders to manage issues impacting OTIF or scope changes. Escalate delivery challenges with potential solutions to senior leadership. Support customers with post-project delivery requirements. Qualifications and Experience: Significant experience in project management or business development support within biotech, pharma, or CMOs, from sales, marketing, or outsourcing perspectives. Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering preferred; advanced degrees helpful but not mandatory. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Communication: Proficient in English (verbal & written); skilled in Microsoft Office; strong interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex information. Industry awareness: Knowledge of custom chemical manufacturing, market trends, regulatory frameworks, and CDMO/CMC insights. Solution delivery: Problem-solving skills, proactive approach, ability to network within complex organizations to identify opportunities and drive outcomes.
