We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Subcontractor Procurement Manager to join a leading Property Maintenance Group. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the procurement of subcontractors providing specialist services across the group. Ensure all subcontractors meet legal, environmental, and ESG standards. Monitor compliance and maintain up-to-date contractual terms and insurance. Support ESG reporting, including scope 3 emissions and social impact. Support subcontractor selection and onboarding for new contracts. Analyse and optimise subcontractor spend and rate variability. Create a subcontractor categorisation framework to drive procurement clarity. Track and analyse subcontractor costs to identify savings opportunities. Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure procurement performance. Provide timely procurement support to operational teams.
Essential/Desirable Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing subcontractor procurement within property maintenance or a similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement compliance, market benchmarking, and ESG standards.
- Advanced negotiation, data analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting cost optimisation and M&A integrations.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and reporting tools.
- Background in implementing procurement automation or software solutions.
- Experience with sustainability reporting (e.g., scope 3 emissions).
