Remote Part-Time AI Model Explorer & Integrator (Generative AI Video, Audio & Music) Ten Sixty is at the forefront of creative innovation, and we're looking for a passionate and curious AI Research Engineer to join our team in a fully remote, part-time capacity. This isn't your typical engineering role. We're seeking an expert with a playful and experimental spirit to dive deep into the world of emerging AI models for video, audio, and music. Your primary mission: to play, test, and unearth groundbreaking AI that can be integrated into our cutting-edge creative projects.

What You'll Do

• Model Discovery & Playtesting: Proactively identify, experiment with, and evaluate new and existing AI models and tools for video generation, analysis, and editing; audio and music composition, synthesis, and enhancement; and other related multimedia applications.
• Use Case Analysis: Deeply understand our creative and production workflows to identify key areas where AI can provide significant value, from concept development to final output.
• Proof-of-Concept Development: Rapidly prototype and build proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the potential of promising AI models for our specific use cases.
• Knowledge Sharing & Demonstration: Clearly and enthusiastically communicate your findings and demonstrate the capabilities of new AI tools to both technical and non-technical team members in a remote setting.
• Integration Strategy: Collaborate with our engineering and creative teams to develop strategies for integrating the most promising AI models into our existing pipelines and products.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain a constant awareness of the latest research and developments in the field of multimedia AI.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a candidate with a unique blend of technical expertise and creative curiosity.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of fundamental AI and machine learning concepts.
• Hands-on experience with various AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
• A demonstrable passion for and understanding of the latest advancements in generative AI for media, including models related to:

• Video: Video synthesis, style transfer, object tracking, and automated editing.
• Audio: Speech synthesis, voice cloning, audio enhancement, and sound classification.
• Music: Music generation, style imitation, and sound design.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party AI services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• A portfolio of personal or professional projects demonstrating your exploration of AI in creative media.
• An understanding of the creative process in video production, music creation, or other relevant fields.
• Access to personal high-performance hardware (e.g., GPUs) for running and testing models is a strong plus.
