Keystone Care are supporting an elderly care group with their search for an Interim Turnaround Manager to join a Residential Home in Greater Manchester. This home provides the highest quality of care for their elderly residents, including those with dementia. They pride themselves on their warm, supportive environment and personalised care plans that cater to the individual needs of their residents.
Rate: £300 - £350 per day - Outside IR35
Location: Greater Manchester
Duration: 8 weeks
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the current Home Manager to implement and complete the Local Authority's action plan within the 8-week timeframe
- Provide strong, visible leadership to the team and support the development of a positive, proactive culture across the home
- Coach and mentor members of the management team, ensuring they are confident and competent in their roles
- Identify and resolve any operational challenges impacting the quality of care or team performance
- Promote best practices in person-centred care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
- Act as a role model for professionalism, accountability, and resident-first values
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external bodies including the Local Authority and CQC
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for staff, residents, and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience managing a Nursing and Care Home
- Proficient understanding of CQC frameworks
- DBS on the Update Service
