Post: Driver / Receptionist Substantive Post
Pay:Standard rate is £12.45 per hour. However, enhancements payable would be an additional 30% on Saturday up to midnight, and +60% on Sunday.
Location:Urgent Treatment Centre, Morecambe Health Centre, LA4 5LY
Hours of work:Part time. 4 week rolling rota. Option of combined role, and / or bank contract also available.

Responsible to:Service Delivery Specialist
Criteria: You will need to be a minimum twenty-five years old for car insurance purposes. Not required for reception role.
The Service:The service works on 4 weeks rolling rota. Full training will be given at mutually agreeable times.

Role:
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various software applications.
As a Driver, you will provide a professional and high-quality driving service for the GP Out of Hours Service.
Post responsibilities
- To provide a professional and high-quality driving service for the GP Out of Hours Service
- To provide a high-quality reception service at the Bay Urgent Care Reception
- To be able to follow strict procedures and protocols at all times
- To work with the clinical team and liaise with our other services to support safe and effective service delivery, ensuring patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.
- When necessary, to be able to complete stocktakes of medical equipment
- Using a Patient Record system experience of Adastra would be an advantage
- To complete routine administration checks when working overnight
- Ensuring full patient confidentiality at all times
- To work individually or as part of a team
- To undertake all relevant training consistent with the requirements of the post
- To be flexible in roles undertaken according to the business need
- To be available especially on the overnight shifts but with flexibility to work during the day when required
- To handle drug stock and replenish when used.
- To undertake vehicle checks
- To report any vehicle problems to the appropriate person
- To maintain and attend all mandatory training

- A full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum two years
- Over twenty-five years of age for driving company vehicles
