Location: 55 Moorgate, London, EC2R 6BH - full-time in the office

Contract: Permanent

Job Summary

Salary: From £26,000

Hours: Rota between 7:30am - 8:00pm Monday to Friday, and 7:30am - 3:30pm Saturdays

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet all outpatients and visitors
  • Facilitate appointment requests and referrals
  • Ensure complete patient demographic and financial information at check-in
  • Assist with patient check-in as required
  • Liaise with insurance companies for authorizations
  • Collect payments using hospital's payment systems
  • Manage cash drawer and reconcile cash
  • Provide cost estimates to self-pay patients
  • Encourage sign-up to the CCL MyChart App
  • Communicate effectively with hospital departments
  • Cross-train across all Patient Access areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The department may require support across various functions including Contact Centre, Cashiering, and Pre-Registration.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a patient-facing environment preferred
  • Experience with hospital booking software preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and work independently or in a team
