Capability Development is a division within 2Excel Aviation and is partly made up of a CAA approved Design Organisation (DOA), Production Organisation (POA) and Part 145 Maintenance Organisation (MOA) which provides design, production and maintenance services to support the other business units within the group and external organisations. We now have two exciting opportunities for the right individuals seeking to develop and expand their career within Civil Aviation.
Responsibilities
Based at Doncaster and reporting to the Capability Development Head of Compliance, we are looking for two auditors to be responsible for continuously reviewing and ensuring compliance in the following areas: BS EN 9100:2018 and ISO 9001:2015 AND/OR Part 145, Part 21 G & Part 21 J.
Duties Will Include, But Not Limited To:
- Undertaking internal & external auditing specifically supplier reviews, calibration, and supplier oversight.
- Maintaining the relevant Quality Management Systems.
- Investigating errors, occurrence reports and mandatory occurrence reports and preparation of associated reports.
- Liaising with regulatory authorities and customers, where necessary.
- Advising and providing guidance on technical matters.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of the approved Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) & approved Production Organisation Exposition (POE) and associated procedures.
To be successful, you will have experience and sound knowledge of compliance and auditing in the Civil Aviation Industry or the equivalent, with a strong desire to develop your career. You will also have the ability and confidence to communicate at all levels and work effectively with all personnel. Relevant qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
In an ideal world, the perfect candidate would be a subject matter expert in both BS EN 9100:2018 and Parts 145 and 21 but this is not essential. Therefore, we are looking for individuals who are subject matter experts in at least one of these areas and we will commit to providing training and support to develop knowledge and experience in the other areas.
Applicants must be able to prove their right to work in the UK and, due to the travel requirements of the role, hold a valid driving licence.
