Your missions:

  • Identify and understand market trends and customer needs
  • Manage and grow Ensemble Foods business within the UK
  • Represent Ensemble Foods at customers and distributors, be the voice of customers internally
  • Deliver on the annual sales plan and strategy for your region
  • Report to the Head of Business Management Ensemble UK

Job Purpose: Develop and execute sales for ENSEMBLE in the UK. Represent customers at ENSEMBLE: translate external trends and customer requirements internally; capture and understand local market movements and needs. Represent ENSEMBLE at customers: defend ENSEMBLE's best interests in customer interactions. Drive sales to develop your regional market following ENSEMBLE's sales strategy.

Major responsibilities and activities:

  • Understand and share the commercial situation for the UK: changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, supply & demand, customer knowledge, market intelligence
  • Contribute to the definition and follow-up of the annual budget and strategic plan for your zone with a bottom-up approach (white markets) and top-down approach (category strategy)
  • Negotiation: Support and achieve targets set in the sales plan
  • Engage contracts in your portfolio according to targets for tonnages and prices; propose adaptations based on market situation
  • Report achievement via sales dashboards and set corrective actions as needed
  • Sales execution: Provide accurate, live forecasts on sales and delivery volume; ensure contract execution (rate, prices, cash collection)
  • Manage customer/business interface to maintain satisfaction
  • Process & Tools: Apply best practices in the process from contract to order to cash, using operational rules and tools (CRM, quotation tool, contract management, rebates, index contracts, follow-up)
  • Work collectively with European sales teams on global and multi-regional accounts

Your profile:

  • Real business developer mindset, passionate about growing business
  • Experience in Food Service and/or Food industry is a plus
  • Fluent in English; local language skills preferred
  • Based in UK, 100% remote (home office)
