Bridges is currently looking for a Severn Trent Water authorised SAP to join us. This is an exciting opportunity to work on various water infrastructure schemes across the midlands, you will be a key part in delivering portfolios of work that are key to the UK's environment and society.

Our projects range in value from Β£5k to Β£15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.

The Role

This is a permanent opportunity. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Authorised Person to work on our MEICA Severn Trent Water Projects, travelling to various sites, to sign off on our major infrastructure works across the region. Responsible for the electrical safety and the issuing and cancelling of STW's electrical standard documentation for electrical equipment and systems. SAPs may be appointed as HV SAPs or LV SAPs. This person shall be a competent electrical engineer or suitably qualified craft person.

  • NVQ L3 Electrical (or equivalent)
  • ECS Gold Card (or equivalent ECS card)
  • Qualified LV SAP for Severn Trent Water
  • Full UK driving license
  • Fitness to work medical (will be undertaken upon commencement of employment)
