Due to further, strategic expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Site Labourer to join them at their manufacturing facility in Lincolnshire. Working as part of a small, friendly team, within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will take ownership of ensuring smooth running of shop floor equipment and work areas.
The key responsibilities for your new role as Site Labourer are as follows:
- Maintenance of the grounds and building.
- General labouring duties as required (emptying swarf bins, emptying general waste bins, general grounds maintenance etc).
- Topping up machines with coolant and recording daily data.
- Cleaning out machines.
- Stock control of oils.
- Updating paperwork.
To be suitable for this position, you will need to hold a current fork lift licence and driving licence and be comfortable working within a fast-moving industrial environment. Regardless of previous expertise, you will have good interpersonal skills and be dependable and responsible, by nature.
In return, my client is offering a salary in the region of £23,492 - £24,332 plus shift premium, for this permanent role. An excellent benefits package is also on offer which includes 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank holidays), subsidised health care, personal accident plan, long service award, bike to work scheme, death in service benefit and a matched pension of 5%.
The role operates on a rotating shift pattern of earlies and lates with the following hours and you will receive a 20% shift premium when working a late shift:
- A shift: Monday to Thursday 6am - 1.35pm and 6am to 12.45pm on a Friday.
- B shift: Monday to Thursday 1.25pm - 9.05pm and 12.35pm - 7pm on a Friday.
