About The Role
We are currently seeking a talented Air Safety Investigator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting safety investigations, analysing incidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of safety processes and procedures within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Conduct thorough investigations of aviation safety incidents, including accidents, near misses, and non-compliance events.
- Gather and analyse relevant data, evidence, and witness statements to determine root causes and contributing factors.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting investigation findings, conclusions, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and external organisations as needed during the investigation process.
- Develop and implement safety enhancement initiatives based on investigation findings to prevent recurrence of incidents.
- Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and track safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and standards related to aviation safety investigation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in aviation safety investigation or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations, safety management systems (SMS), and accident/incident investigation methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
