Our client is a family run business who are looking to build on their team of talent, by recruiting for a Trainee Commercial Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all areas of the business and grow into a long-term commercial role. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, youll gain a full understanding of how the business operates by working across multiple departments. You will be involved in a wide range of activities that support the companys commercial success. They are seeking a candidate who will embrace their team culture, who is wanting to involve themselves in the business and grab opportunities for career progression with both hands. Duties will include

Provide administrative support across multiple departments, such as accounts and finance, marketing, logistics, compliance and commercial

Acting as an administrative support to Management and the Commercial Director

Assist with invoicing, data entry, and document control utilising a bespoke inhouse system

Securing and negotiating transportation rates from suppliers

Help coordinate logistics and scheduling of collections and deliveries from various sites

Support with all compliance and regulatory documentation, ensuring a keen eye for detail

Contribute to social media content and marketing activities

Attend exhibitions and industry events as a company representative as and when required

This role will suit a candidate who is hungry to find their foot in the door with an established company who offer a clear career path. The successful candidate will be fluid with their role and understand that no two days are always the same. A recent college or university graduate or someone with 12 years of office-based experience will be considered. You will be eager to learn, be adaptable, and ready to take on varied responsibilities. Alongside a good basic salary, you will also be privy to direct mentorship from the Commercial Director, and you will gain exposure to all areas of the business. Due to location, own transport is required.
