What You Will Do:
- Lead research initiatives to identify trends, industry shifts, and innovative ideas for next-generation vehicles.
- Develop and implement inspiring colour and material design proposals, contributing to materiality strategies, concept cars, and vision properties.
- Collaborate with external suppliers to create and deliver colours, materials, finishes, and grains through to production.
- Coordinate and manage the project lifecycle for vehicle builds related to colour and material design.
- Translate material concepts from 2D designs to 3D products, ensuring alignment with production specifications.
- Mentor and coach team members, sharing best practices and expertise to elevate the team's overall performance.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in colour and material design, with a portfolio showcasing your creative application within modern luxury.
- Proficiency in design software including: Photoshop, Illustrator, VRED, and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of automotive design processes and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Passion for sustainability, material innovation, and modern luxury, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- A relevant Design Degree in Textiles, Fashion, Graphics, Product, Automotive Design or similar.
