A leading global consultancy is expanding its SAP practice and is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Process Purchase to Pay Consultant at Manager level. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing SAP team delivering end-to-end SAP Purchase to Pay (PtP) transformation programmes for major UK and global clients.
As an SAP S/4HANA Process Purchase to Pay Consultant, you’ll work closely with clients to design and implement SAP PtP solutions that transform procurement, accounts payable, and invoice processing operations. You’ll apply your functional expertise, consulting experience, and leadership skills to deliver practical solutions that create real business value.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and functional consulting across SAP S/4HANA PtP projects.
- Support the management and control of client engagements, reporting to Senior Managers or Directors.
- Develop project strategies to address complex technical challenges.
- Support delivery across key PtP areas such as master data, invoicing, payments, and automation depending on project scope and phase.
- Manage and develop small project teams of 2-4 consultants.
- Assess project risks, review team outputs, and drive solutions to conclusion.
- Help shape and deliver high-quality projects that exceed client expectations.
- Influence clients in the adoption of automation and intelligent technologies.
This role is ideal for professionals who:
- Have expertise in SAP ECC MM, FI, and S/4HANA Finance with strong knowledge of PtP best practices, including Accounts Payable.
- Have delivered at least two full-cycle SAP implementations (ECC or S/4HANA).
- Bring strong experience in business process design and process improvement within Purchase to Pay.
- Have led project teams of 2-4 consultants.
- Possess excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Bring previous consulting experience (essential); an accounting qualification or background is beneficial but not essential.
- Base salary: £55,000 - £73,000 (London & regions)
