About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Customs Clearance Supervisor to lead our Turkish Customs Operations team. In this key role, you will oversee the day-to-day customs clearance activities, ensuring full compliance with Turkish regulations while maintaining high service standards for our clients. Working closely with both internal departments and external partners, you’ll drive performance, support continuous improvement, and help identify new opportunities for revenue growth within customs services.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and supporting the Turkish customs clearance team, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.
  • Liaising with internal departments, customs authorities, and clients to resolve clearance issues efficiently.
  • Staying current with Turkish customs regulations and advising on import/export requirements, including POAO goods.
  • Training, mentoring, and developing team members to maintain high performance and compliance standards.
  • Monitoring KPIs, driving process improvements, and reporting performance to senior management.

About You

You are an experienced customs professional with at least four years of hands-on Turkish Customs Clearance experience, and ideally a background in supervising or mentoring others. You possess a deep understanding of import/export procedures, and preferably, knowledge of POAO goods and their specific documentation requirements. You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident making decisions independently while also fostering strong team collaboration.
