We are hiring for an Engineering Consultant (MEP/Chartered Engineer - Building Management Systems (BMS) / Building Automation Systems (BAS)).
Location: Hybrid - Birmingham
Conduct in-depth reviews of servicing strategies developed by design teams, encompassing critical systems such as standby power, UPS systems, life safety systems, lightning protection, lighting, and HVAC systems.
Provide expert technical support and guidance to GPA project managers, advising on complex MEP-related issues as the design evolves.
Ensure all building services designs and installations align with GPA standards and Employer's Requirements from RIBA Stage 1 through to RIBA Stage 6 and the subsequent defects period.
Ensure the successful integration of sustainability targets, including BREEAM and NABERS, within building services designs and implementations.
Should possess extensive experience dealing with large, high-value (£95m+) construction projects.
Deep technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
