Purpose of Role: As a Technical Service Specialist in the London office, you will be responsible for providing a reliable and robust repairs and support service. This will involve diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing products, playing a vital role in ensuring our cutting-edge products perform at their best and provide exceptional experiences for our clients. This position is integral in working through problems that may arise, completing and documenting repairs, and testing.

Key Features of the role:
- Responsible for incoming repairs to electronic products; providing a range of in-person, phone and e-mail technical support for products;
- Fault-finding and diagnosing problems accurately and ensuring repairs are made within agreed time frames and service level agreements;
- Keep customers and relevant stakeholders informed at every stage of the repairs process and ensure completion of follow-up documentation and logging of all cases;
- Ensure completion of appropriate paperwork associated with repairs and re-shipments;
- Provide information and guidance for software upgrades and production configuration of new equipment as assigned;
- Documenting and reporting all quality and service issues to the appropriate personnel;
- Support with training of internal personnel, external technicians and customers on the correct repairs of products;
Minimum Requirements:
- Technical degree in Electronics or equivalent or comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline
- 3-5 years previous experience with electronic repair, preferred
- Strong fault finding/diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of PCB, electronics and mechanical assembly preferred
- Able to read prints and schematics preferred
- Manual dexterity skills
- Good soldering skills and surface mount techniques
- Able to use hand tools, small power tools, and test equipment
- Knowledge of current wiring regulations
- Computer skills (Outlook, Internet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
