Responsibilities and duties of the Technical Sales Manager role:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will:
- Proactively identify and engage with UK DNO companies to strengthen our brand presence and secure specifications that drive sales within our target applications.
- Research, assess, and pursue UK process industry projects, focusing on key stakeholders such as owners/operators, engineers, contractors, and resellers. Projects will vary in scope and value, but the primary objective remains to grow our brand and gain specifications that support sales growth in key applications.
- Cultivate new business opportunities, often starting from initial contact and progressing to inclusion in standard specifications or approved vendor lists.
- Identify and approach potential clients who would benefit from our solutions, providing tailored support to fully realize market opportunities.
- Sustain and nurture our current client base, including owners, operators, designers, and installers.
- Represent the company at industry events and forums to network, raise brand visibility, and uncover new business opportunities.
Professional Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- A university degree and/or equivalent. However, candidates without a relevant degree may be considered if they can demonstrate substantial industry-specific experience in a comparable role.
- Proven professional experience in sales or related roles within the industry.
