Position : Project Engineer Location : Brough, East Yorkshire Sector : Manufacturing Salary : £33,000 – £36,000 plus benefits Hours of Work : Mon-Thu 8-4.30, Fri 8-1.30 Hybrid : No – this position is office based Please note : due to security clearance requirements, we can only consider candidates with a UK passport. You will also undergo a DBS check The Role : Full lifecycle delivery of manufacturing projects from concept to completion Liaise with key stakeholders across the business, sales, projects, clients during all stages of project to ensure all contractual requirements are satisfied. Ensure that engineering drawings meet customer requirements Liaise with customers, internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure that production runs smoothly and is delivered on time and in full. Support production during the manufacturing process Production of engineering route cards and assembly instructions for production staff Generate generate bills of materials for production Maintain the MRP system (factory master) About You Engineering experience, with the ability to read engineering drawings. Mechanical or electrical engineering preferred, manufacturing engineering also welcome Formal qualification in an engineering subject to HNC level or higher Proven professional experience – we cannot consider people who only have academic experience for this role Self organised Commercially aware A problem solver Manufacturing experience Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with customers, operations, and suppliers Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically excel. Can manage multiple projects simultaneously. Full clean driving licence
