Location: Remote role with national travel to customer sites. You will be based in mainland England with easy access to major motorway links and live near an international airport. In the role of Business Development Manager – Automotive Engineering Services Generate business leads and acquire contracts aligned with our strategic goals Develop and execute revenue-generating strategies to meet and exceed sales targets Create and implement capture plans for opportunities, ensuring successful closure Promote our client’s automotive engineering services to maximize sales potential Identify profit generation and cost control opportunities within our client’s customer base Strengthen relationships with existing clients to enhance business opportunities Maintain and update CRM systems to track sales opportunities and forecast Research and analyze market intelligence to support our client’s growth strategy Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing client objectives and concerns Monitor competitor activities to maintain market leadership and value for customers Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tender responses Represent our client at industry trade shows and client events Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations The requirements for the Business Development Manager – Automotive Engineering Services: At least 5 years of experience within a commercial/sales/business development environment in the automotive/motorsport engineering services sector Qualified in relevant engineering discipline to at least NVQ 4 level or equivalent Demonstrable experience of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets A proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close with a strong business sense and industry expertise A good network of contacts within the OEM Automotive/Special Vehicle Operations/Motorsport Industry The ability to communicate and present credibly and influence and negotiate Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Must be willing to travel nationally and internationally when required Salary & Benefits: Negotiable & Attractive Base Salary DOE Salary Sacrifice EV Car Scheme 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (increasing with service to 30 days) Employee Assistance and Wellbeing Programme Private Healthcare Retail Discounts Loyalty Rewards Death in Service Cover Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme (plus free independent pensions advice) For more information about the role or to apply send your CV now to oliver@beautifulrecruitment.com and call Oliver now on +44 (0) 203 911 1000.
