Superior Healthcare provides at-home complex care services to children, young people, and adults across the UK. Founded in 2006, we have been dedicated to supporting families who have had to make significant adjustments due to life-changing incidents or diagnoses.
We are urgently seeking Carers, Support Workers, and Children Care Assistants in Tunbridge Wells for Waking Nights only. As a care assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a long-term basis with one or a small number of clients in the local area.
Shifts: 8-12 hours at night, caring for one paediatric client per shift.
Schedule: Fixed rota with overtime options.
All our team members receive a fully paid, comprehensive, week-long, classroom-based training program with practical workshops before being introduced to our clients. This training covers all aspects of the Care Certificate and delves into skills needed to support complex clients, such as:
- PEG feeding
- Ventilation
- Epilepsy
Whether you are a support worker or healthcare assistant currently working in a care home, supporting children with complex care needs, or assisting individuals with clinical requirements in the community, this is your chance to step into a new and rewarding role.
Responsibilities:
- PEG feeding
- Oral suctioning
- Ventilation
- Epilepsy management
- Tracheostomy care (Preferred but not essential)
- Medication administration
- Assist with clinical interventions such as PEG feeds and seizure management
Requirements:
- Nights Shifts
- Previous and recent care experience, involving personal care within the UK
- Full right to work within the UK
- Must be able to commit to at least two shifts per week
- Full UK driving license with access to a car
