Purpose of the Role: To provide responsive, effective desktop and systems support across Octric Semiconductors Ltd. This includes routine IT tasks, diagnostics, hardware/software support, and resolving technical issues under the direction of senior IT staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, systems, and access issues.
- Respond to technical support requests via telephone, email, and face-to-face.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues using Service Desk tools.
- Install and configure hardware/software (e.g., PCs, printers, business software).
- Conduct user account tasks (e.g., creation/deletion in Active Directory).
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Document all activities and participate in regular IT team meetings.

- Log and track IT issues through the IT Helpdesk.
- Liaise directly with users to determine and resolve issues or discuss solutions.
- Work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
