Global FMCG manufacturing business require a Procurement Supervisor. Applicants need both strategic and operational procurement expertise, experience of or the ability to manage Buyers and comfort working in a matrix environment.
The Procurement Supervisor will essentially operate as a Procurement Manager leading all site based procurement activities (direct and indirect), operational and strategic while collaborating with global procurement colleagues across the matrix.
Specific duties of the Procurement Supervisor / Procurement Manager include:
- Lead, supervise, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
- Ensure continuity of supply based on demand planning and inventory levels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic sourcing and long-term agreements.
- Establish and maintain effective supplier relationships and performance reviews.
- Identify alternative sourcing options and support change management activities.
