We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Consultant to retain members, promote and generate new memberships for this long-standing organisation based in Wolverhampton, serving the black country area. If you enjoy meeting and engaging with local businesses both in person and over the phone, we want to hear from you. You will be self-motivated and in control of your own diary and appointments.
Duties:
- Generating and converting new member leads in line with agreed targets.
- Supporting member retention by meeting set targets.
- Ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads to maximise sales opportunities and meet monthly goals.
- Identifying members with additional needs and promoting relevant membership upgrades.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the recruitment process and beyond.
- Hosting and facilitating networking events to strengthen relationships with both existing and prospective members.
- Regularly attending key business events such as SME forums, trade expos, and networking sessions.
- Collaborating with the membership team to meet recruitment and retention goals.
- Actively promoting the full range of services, including training, trade and export documentation, events, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Logging all activity in the CRM system to track progress and contribute to performance reports.
Experience:
- Business to business sales experience.
- Results driven and used to working to targets/KPIs.
- Self-motivated and used to working on a CRM.
- Must have a full driving license.
This is a hybrid role, however must be local to Wolverhampton. Hours Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.00pm.
