Newcastle College invites applications from dedicated and enthusiastic individuals passionate about education and student progression. We seek a qualified and dynamic person to join us as a Lecturer. This role involves delivering and assessing high-quality learning experiences, monitoring student retention and progress, and implementing interventions to help students meet their targets. Effective communication with parents, guardians, external agencies, and colleagues is essential. You will also promote high standards in teaching and learning, fostering an environment conducive to student success.

The ideal candidate will have an honours degree or equivalent, preferably with a post-16 teaching qualification and Level 2 English and maths qualifications or a commitment to achieve them. Experience in FE, HE, or Apprenticeships, along with proven teaching and assessment skills, is desirable. Strong communication skills, digital literacy, workload management, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are important.
