We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Analyst with expertise in data analytics and digital analytics to join our team. As an Ecommerce Data Analyst at ProCook, you will play a pivotal role in website performance, customer behaviour, and conversion metrics to inform strategic decisions and optimise the user experience on our site. Additionally, you will report and analyse sales data to key stakeholders on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and other analytics tools to track, measure, and analyse key eCommerce metrics and customer journeys.
  • Prepare PowerBI/Looker Studio Dashboards for Ecommerce team and other teams on a regular/ad-hoc basis.
  • Implement and maintain tracking configurations, event tagging, and custom dimensions in GA4 to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Generate actionable insights through data analysis and visualisation, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve the effectiveness of our clients' online stores.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and marketing teams to conduct data-driven experiments, A/B tests, and user research to optimise the user experience and drive conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and performance metrics tailored to the specific needs of our clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on eCommerce KPIs, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement to inform strategic decision-making and campaign optimisation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in eCommerce analytics, data visualisation, and user experience design.
  • Support Marketing and Trading with budget forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on eCommerce analytics and user behaviour analysis.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including hands-on experience with event tracking, custom dimensions, and advanced segmentation.
  • Familiarity or hands-on experience with attribution tools such as Northbeam, Mixpanel, Hubspot, Heap, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights to drive business results.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL and DAX queries.
  • Good knowledge of digital optimisation platforms such as Microsoft Clarity and Datadog.
  • Proficiency in AB testing tools like Sitespect (or similar such as Optimizely, AB Tasty, Adobe Target, VWO etc).
  • A basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A basic understanding of web and digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook/social Ads, Affiliate platforms and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs etc.
  • Good knowledge of commercial optimisation.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Good knowledge of Python, data analytics libraries, REST/RESTful APIs, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Relational databases is a plus.
  • Familiarity with current trends in Analytics, Ecommerce, AI Search, LLMs, Marketing would be desirable.
  • Consistent and a proactive contribution to improve the user experience and ecommerce sales would be highly appreciated.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Hybrid Working: 3 days in our inspiring ProCook HQ, 2 days flexible remote.
