Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to be offering a permanent role for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver with our client in Poole.
Days: Monday-Friday
Location: Poole
Pay Rate: £17.37 (basic), £19.61 (nights), £20.73 (weekends) – £25 night-out allowance (for tramping work). Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.
As a HGV Driver you MUST have:
- a minimum of 2 years Tramping experience
- a valid UK Class 1 HGV driving licence
- a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)
- your own transport to get to and from work
As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
- Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations

- Minimum of 8 hours daily pay
- Temp-perm opportunities
