HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to be offering a permanent role for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver with our client in Poole.

Days: Monday-Friday

Location:Poole

Pay Rate: £17.37 (basic). 19.61 (nights). 20.73 (weekends) – £25 night-out allowance (for tramping work). Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.

As a HGV Driver you MUST have:

• a minimum of 2 years Tramping experience
• a valid UK Class 1 HGV driving licence
• a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
• no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)
• your own transport to get to and from work

As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
• Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
• minimum of 8 hours daily pay
• temp-perm opportunities

This position is commutable from Salisbury, Bouremouth, Southampton and other areas close to Poole.
