We are actively looking for skilled technicians with expertise in major component exchange for wind turbines to join our team for offshore projects in the UK and Denmark. Responsibilities:
- Major Component Exchange: Execute complex maintenance and replacement procedures for major components of wind turbines, such as gearboxes, blades, generators, and hubs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures, ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and secure manner.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Conduct technical troubleshooting and fault finding to identify and resolve issues with wind turbine components.
- Preventive Maintenance: Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of wind turbines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and technical documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and the project team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Valid GWO certifications (Basic Safety Training modules - Fire Awareness, First Aid, Manual Handling, Working at Heights) or equivalent.
- Sea Survival and HUET-E-CABS training to ensure offshore safety compliance.
- Proven experience as an MCE Technician, with expertise in major component exchange for wind turbines.
- Sound knowledge of wind turbine systems, components, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Ability to work in challenging offshore environments with adherence to strict safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
