Job title: Store man / Counterbalance Flt Driver

Basis: Temp-Perm

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming goods
• Store products safely and efficiently, following correct procedures (e.g. FIFO, hazardous/perishable handling)
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders with correct labelling and documentation
• Conduct regular stock checks, audits, and update inventory systems (e.g. SAP)
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excesses, or discrepancies
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet trucks) if certified
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Communicate with internal teams regarding stock availability and delivery status
• Keep accurate records of stock movements, deliveries, and returns

Requirements:

• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
• Experience using stock control systems and basic IT tools (e.g. barcoding, SAP)
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent);
• NVQ/BTEC in Warehousing/Logistics preferred
• Valid Forklift Truck Operator Certificate (e.g. Counterbalance or Reach Truck)
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and reliability
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptable and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
