Our client designs and manufactures precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for a Grinder to join their team. As a Grinder, you would be responsible for grinding and surfacing precision forgings to customer requirements.
Shifts: 4 day week 06.00-16.00
Salary: £14.00 plus competitive benefits package.
Reporting directly to the Department Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
- Remove defects on forgings
- Ensure a high standard finish on components and parts to customer agreed requirements
To be successful in the role of a Grinder, you will hold the following skills and experience:
- Experience of using a grinder and able to use various air tools
- Understanding of visual inspection standards and specifications
- Good communicator and a "can do" attitude
- An attention to detail and able to work meticulously
