Grinding Operative

Our client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for a Grinder to join their team. As a Grinder you would be responsible for grinding and surfing precision forgings to customer requirements.

Shifts – 4 day week 06.00-16.00

Salary – 14.00 plus competitive benefits package.

Reporting directly to the Department Leader , your key responsibilities will include:

• Remove defects on forgings
• Ensure a high standard finish on components and parts to customer agreed requirement

To be successful in the role of a Grinder you will hold the following skills and experience;

• Experience of using a grinder and able to use various air tools
• Understanding of visual inspection standards and specifications
• Good communicator and a \”can do\” attitude\”
• An attention to detail and able to work meticulously
