Site Engineer – Civil Engineering (TPU – Huddersfield) Up to £350/day (Inside IR35) Ongoing Contract An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor on a major infrastructure scheme in Huddersfield, as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TPU). This is a key role with a strong focus on setting out and groundworks, supporting critical early-stage construction works. Accurate setting out for drainage, foundations, formwork, and utilities Ensure work is delivered in line with design specifications and quality standards Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors, and design teams Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline Proven experience in groundworks and setting out on major civils/infrastructure projects Competency with Total Station/GPS surveying equipment and CAD software Valid CSCS and ideally SMSTS/SSSTS Competitive rate up to £350/day (Inside IR35) Long-term contract on a high-profile rail infrastructure project If you’re an experienced Site Engineer looking to join a flagship UK infrastructure project with strong support and long-term potential, apply now to discuss the role in more detail.
