Are you a dynamic and experienced nurse leader passionate about delivering high-quality, complex care in the community? We are seeking a Regional Lead Nurse to join an established healthcare provider delivering specialist home-based care to adults and children with complex needs.
About The Role: As Regional Lead Nurse, you will ensure the safety, quality, and consistency of clinical care across your region. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, you will lead a team of Nurse Case Managers and play a key role in onboarding new clients, supporting clinical training, and driving excellence in service delivery. You will build strong relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and commissioners, ensuring clinical governance and patient-centered care remain at the forefront of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support Nurse Case Managers
- Oversee the safe and effective onboarding of new clients
- Assure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
- Participate in monthly virtual care reviews and act on clinical findings
- Provide clinical training and supervision to carers and nursing staff
- Contribute to policy development, compliance, and safeguarding protocols
- Represent the organisation in multidisciplinary and commissioner meetings
About You
Essential:
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Significant experience in senior clinical or nurse management
- Strong understanding of community care delivery and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Confident in using Microsoft Office and clinical systems
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
Desirable:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in community healthcare or NHS commissioning
- Mentorship qualification
