Assistant Accountant

RG Consultancy is working with a manufacturer based in Accrington and is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Accountant will support all areas of the finance function.

Key duties include:

• General ledger reconciliations
• Fixed Assets and depreciation – monthly and annual review
• Assist with management accounts preparation within strict deadlines
• Sales analysis and investigation
• Sales, cost of sales, and cash flow forecasting
• Month-end, mid-month, and ad hoc reporting

This role is suitable for someone with experience at the Assistant Accountant level, aiming to develop into a management accountant role, or someone experienced with management accounts supporting the Financial Controller.
