Estimator

Estimator – I currently have an excellent opportunity available for an Estimator with an electrical bias to join a medium-sized M&E contractor experiencing rapid growth in the Northampton area.

Responsibilities for the Estimator include:

1. Estimating costs for tendered projects with an electrical/mechanical value of up to £3m
2. Taking off drawings and inputting data into estimation software
3. Analyzing received quotations
4. Supporting tender submissions with labour and design input
5. Occasional site visits and surveys
6. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and customers
7. Attending pre-order, mid-tender, and post-tender meetings

The starting salary ranges from £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience. Benefits include a car allowance and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. Electrical experience is required, along with a HNC/HND or City & Guilds equivalent.
