The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Performs a variety of services ranging from faucet repairs to water heater installations and plumbing systems replacements for residential customers while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Essential Job Functions:
- Complete plumbing, drain cleaning and other related in-home service calls.
- Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
- Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
- Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
- Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
Qualifications:
- At least 2+ years of residential plumbing service experience; Journeyman's License Preferred.
- Ability to drive a company service truck safely at all times and to maintain a clean driving record.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
- Ability to sell services to customers effectively and satisfactorily; assist the customer in choosing the best service option and products and strive to win referrals and repeat business.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized job site.
- Ability to maintain a well-inventoried truck.
- Honesty and trustworthiness in dealing with customers.
- Demonstrate sound work ethic.
- Ability to work a varying schedule depending on the company's needs; work off-shift with minimal notice if required, including holidays and weekends.
- Ability to participate in training sessions and company meetings.
- Accuracy and timely invoicing, timesheets and other daily paperwork.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes.
- Proven track record in soldering, pipe threading, fixture installation, gas leak testing, and repair.
