About the Role
Our client, Grelson Ltd T/A Marlowe, is seeking an experienced Multi Trader with expertise in aids and adaptations and level access shower installations (wet rooms) to join their highly motivated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out all aspects of a Level Access Adaptation, including but not limited to:
- Strip-Outs:
- Isolating hot and cold feeds
- Removing existing bath, tiles, and flooring
- Routing existing pipework out of the wet area
- Running new cold feed to the shower
- Dry-lining or bonding walls for tiling
- Constructing studwork where required to house pipework and electrics
- Cutting floorboards to fit a Tuff Form Tray
- Installing new gravity waste and connections
- Laying 6mm plywood overlay in remaining floor area
- Tiling approx. 8m² in the wet area and splashback on the basin (avg. tile size: 250mm x 250mm)
- Removing and refitting the existing WC for new safety flooring installation
- Fitting a new basin and semi-pedestal
- Installing a new shower unit
- Fitting standard 750mm wet room screens
- Communicating with the client to determine the best positioning
- Cleaning and sealing work areas
Note: Flooring and electrical work will be carried out by others.
Requirements
- Experience in plumbing, tiling, and carpentry is essential.
- Must have own tools.
- Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with other trades and clients to meet completion targets.
