RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Pre-condition site surveys
2. Initial site setup and establishment (supported by the Site Manager)
3. Identification of local resources, materials, services
4. Assist the Site Manager with establishment and ongoing management of welfare and waste facilities, as well as plant hire (as required)
5. Ongoing management of the on-site operations
6. Ensure correct implementation of electrical, civil and mechanical construction drawings by the main Subcontractor
7. Supervise subcontractors schedule and works
8. Report to the Project Manager any deviations from the PoW or scope by the subcontractors
9. Quantity and quality receipt of on-site materials from main equipment and local suppliers
10. Manage construction flow and timetable
11. Provide technical support and guidance, solving on site problems
12. Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly progress reports and documentation for internal use and Client requirements
13. Ensure compliance with QH&SE procedures
14. Management of site finishing works and demobilisation

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related Engineering fields
2. Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and civil construction drawings is essential.
3. Knowledge of AUTOCAD is considered an advantage.
4. Proven track record in the construction of solar parks, with a minimum 3 years’ experience in large scale solar plants (min. 15MW)
5. Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
