Production Line Operative โ Radstock
We are currently seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our clientโs production team in Radstock.
Role Overview:
As a Production Line Operative, you will play a crucial role in the packaging of food products at our clientโs facility in Radstock. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the production of high-quality food items.
Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment on the assembly line to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Monitor the production line to ensure products are being packaged correctly, following established quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks on packaged food items, identify defects, and report issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling production lines for changeovers and maintenance.
- Follow production schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet targets and deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and resolve issues.
- Keep accurate records of production activities, including quantities, downtime, and quality issues.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to production processes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and lift heavy loads.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and willingness to comply.
- Flexible with working hours and available for additional shifts when needed.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Hours:
- 7:00am โ 4:00pm (standard hours)
- Flexibility to work other shifts when required is preferred.
Salary: Competitive hourly rate, with potential for overtime and career progression.
