Production Line Operative – Radstock

We are currently seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our client’s production team in Radstock.

Role Overview:

As a Production Line Operative, you will play a crucial role in the packaging of food products at our client’s facility in Radstock. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the production of high-quality food items.

Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery and equipment on the assembly line to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
• Monitor the production line to ensure products are being packaged correctly, following established quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks on packaged food items, identify defects, and report issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling production lines for changeovers and maintenance.
• Follow production schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet targets and deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and resolve issues.
• Keep accurate records of production activities, including quantities, downtime, and quality issues.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to production processes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and lift heavy loads.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and willingness to comply.
• Flexible with working hours and available for additional shifts when needed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

Hours:

• 7:00am – 4:00pm (standard hours)
• Flexibility to work other shifts when required is preferred.

Salary: Competitive hourly rate, with potential for overtime and career progression.
