Mechanical Support Coventry

Full-Time 25000 - 42000 £ / year (est.) No home office possible

National Express has a great opportunity to join our internationally known company as a Mechanical Support in our Coventry Garage.

As a key member of the team, your role will involve assisting with vehicle repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

You should have a mechanical interest, previous experience, a manual car driving licence, and a PCV licence is desirable. The role requires drive to succeed and a passion to work days, evenings, and nights, including weekends and weekday shifts.

What you\’ll do

Manage service duties through bus allocations, changeovers, and garage plans.
Carry out routine services such as oil changes efficiently to manufacturer and specialist standards.
Conduct road wheel changes.
Repair minor defects as needed.
Maintain all documentation according to company procedures.
Ensure good housekeeping and compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Fire Regulations.
