We are a leading global technology consulting firm, empowering businesses to innovate, transform, and thrive in the digital age. Our internal agency team is the creative heartbeat of our brand, crafting world-class campaigns, immersive storytelling, and visually stunning experiences that captivate our clients, employees, stakeholders and marketplace at large.

As Marketing Director of our internal agency, you will be the taste arbiter who elevates our company beyond functionality into the realm of design excellence. This role demands someone who views creative direction as a calling—where obsessive attention to detail and uncompromising craft standards transform business challenges into creative solutions that are not merely effective, but exceptional. You are the ultimate player/coach.

Your days will be defined by a relentless pursuit of creative distinction:

  • Morning might find you scrutinizing typography in a company-wide presentation, adjusting letterforms until they achieve perfect balance.
  • By mid-morning, you are challenging your team during concept reviews—not settling for the good when greatness is possible.
  • After lunch, you could be curating visual references that expand your team’s aesthetic horizons beyond industry norms.
  • Later, you might spend an hour perfecting the sequence of a pitch deck for a growth meeting, understanding that narrative rhythm is as crucial as content.
  • Some days involve immersive creative direction—fine-tuning color palettes until they achieve subtle emotional resonance or working with photographers to capture precisely the right composition.
  • Other days focus on taste cultivation—introducing your team to influences from architecture, fashion, and fine art that will inform their design sensibilities.

You will frequently be the final guardian of quality—the one who notices the misaligned object, the inconsistent voice, or the imprecise interaction that others overlook. Throughout it all, you will elevate standards across the organization, transforming 'acceptable' into 'exceptional' through your refined aesthetic judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Associate Director of Creative Strategy to translate cultural insights and strategic frameworks into creative vision and direction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external creative partners, photographers, directors, and production specialists to expand creative capabilities.
  • Establish processes that balance creative excellence with business timelines and resource constraints.
  • Lead concept development sessions with creative teams, challenging them to elevate their thinking beyond industry conventions.
  • Curate and share relevant creative influences from diverse fields (architecture, fashion, fine art, etc.) to expand the team’s visual vocabulary.
  • Develop and refine the creative expression of the company’s brand identity across all touchpoints.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous creative standards across all deliverables, from initial concepts to final execution.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure flawless execution across different media—digital, print, environmental, motion, and experiential.
  • Lead the creative response to urgent business needs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Conduct regular creative reviews, providing precise feedback that elevates the quality and impact of all work.
  • Present creative concepts to executive stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind aesthetic choices and their relationship to strategic objectives.
  • Review campaign performance data to ensure work is creatively compelling and performant. Ensure a continuous learning cycle.
  • Mentor and develop creative team members, nurturing their technical skills, aesthetic judgment, and conceptual abilities.
  • Stay ahead of evolving design trends and technologies, incorporating relevant innovations into the team’s creative approach.

Qualifications

  • An exceptionally cultivated design sensibility—the ability to detect excellence and mediocrity instantly.
  • Portfolio reflecting meticulous craft and conceptual sophistication that transcends typical corporate work.
  • Obsessive attention to detail across all creative elements—typography, composition, colour, rhythm, and voice.
  • Ability to articulate precise creative decisions and their strategic implications.
  • Curatorial mindset—constantly collecting, evaluating, and synthesising diverse creative influences.
  • Talent for elevating others’ work through subtle refinements that transform good work into outstanding work.
  • Experience setting uncompromising quality standards while still meeting business objectives.
  • Deep appreciation for craft across various media—digital, print, environmental, motion, and experiential.
  • Background that demonstrates aesthetic leadership and taste-making influence.
  • A profound excitement and incorporation of the latest tools and technology into your workflow and process.

In this role, you will establish a new standard of creative excellence within a multi-billion dollar company—one where the subtleties of execution are as valued as strategic thinking. Your discerning eye will influence everything from how we present to new logos to how we approach problem-solving. You won’t just produce creative work—you’ll cultivate an organizational appreciation for craft that becomes our signature in a world of corporate sameness.
