We are seeking a skilled Electrical Service Engineer to join our client’s team. In this role, you\’ll work independently to deliver exceptional service and repairs, ensuring the optimal performance of customer vehicles. You\’ll be responsible for planning your own daily and weekly schedules, traveling to customer sites, troubleshooting electrical issues, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers within your designated region.
- Schedule visits and ensure timely, efficient service delivery.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and customer requirements while on-site.
- Complete company documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, addressing any health and safety concerns.
- Take care of company equipment and ensure your vehicle is well-maintained and presentable.
- Conduct offsite fault finding, repairs, and manage replacement parts and warranty returns.
- Assist with work in other regions or for special campaigns, including occasional overnight stays by mutual agreement.
- Identify and offer customers additional solutions for repairs and improvements to vehicles.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical service/engineering (automotive experience is a plus).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel.
