Chapman Tate Associates seeks a Business Systems Developer (IBM iSeries) to join this internationally based top-tiered IT Software House. My client works with and supplies into a number of household names delivering a range of Software Solutions around Cloud Services, ERP, IT Security, AI IoT. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using IBM RPG programming language.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Write efficient and clean code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

Technically you will have experience around the following:

  • Familiarity with IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform and associated technologies.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.
  • Problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
