The £4m Membership Organisation generating revenues through corporate and individual membership, conferences and events, training courses and advertising, is seeking a hands-on Part Time Head of Finance to report to the MD and the Board. Working part time, 3 - 4 days or short hours across 5 days (hybrid - one day in London), the role will involve:
- Oversee a team of three finance staff covering ledgers and credit control
- Prepare monthly management accounts and performance analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting process and reforecasting every quarter
- Manage month end and balance sheet reconciliations on Xero
- Statutory work including VAT, PAYE, external audit liaison
- Review and development of financial systems, procedures and controls
- Liaise with department heads, MD, CEO and the Board
This is a friendly and supportive organisation with flexible working hours. The role requires a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA). One day in the office in London and the remainder can be from home. Flexible part time opportunity.
